Njaattupurayile Asthamayam
O.V. Vijayan Death Anniversary Commemoration 2026. A full-day programme organised by the O.V. Vijayan Smaraka Samiti under the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala. The programme includes: floral tribute at the Vijayan statue, inauguration of the Ashraf Malayali Memorial O.V. Vijayan Photo & Cartoon Gallery (built with the support of Sri Madhu and DC Books), inaugural meeting, distribution of O.V. Vijayan Memorial Literary Awards, seminar "Remembering O.V. Vijayan", dramatic readings of Vijayan's stories, and Kavya Sadass — a poetry session by Palakkad poets as a poetic tribute to O.V. Vijayan. All literature lovers are warmly invited.
